MUMBAI: Captain Virat Kohli, who is regarded as one of the best contemporary batsmen in the world, has penned down a note for ‘the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman’ of his life, and that person is none other than his beloved wife and actress Anushka Sharma.

Virat and Anushka are one of the most popular and adorable celebrity couples. After dating for a long time, the power couple tied the knot in Italy on 11 December 2017. The two are now parents to a baby girl. Virat and Anushka welcomed their baby girl, Vamika, on 11 January 2021.

On International Women’s Day, the cricketer took to his social media handle and shared a lovely picture of Anushka and Vamika. However, the little one’s face is not visible in the click. The picture sees Anushka affectionately looking at her daughter.

Virat penned down an adorable lengthy note for Anushka and Vamika. “Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It's because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world,” reads his note.
