MUMBAI: Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has mesmerized the cricket fans with his cricket journey. A champion, he played a key role to help India win two world cups. The charming cricketer, who is one of the most stylish left-handed batsmen, is an inspiration for many!
However, it’s not just his cricket journey that inspires his millions of fans.
He is also a cancer survivor.

The former cricketer, who has been bestowed with many awards including the prestigious Arjuna Award and Padma Shri Award, has not just defeated cancer and but also returned to represent the national team.
And on Sunday, 7th June 2020, Yuvraj took to social media to pen down a note to mark National Cancer Survivors Day.
He wrote how being a survivor he knows the pain and agony of fighting cancer and that when life gives you a second chance, it should be used for the greatest good.
He also pledged to take care of those who are battling cancer.
“When life gives you a 2nd chance, it should be used for the greatest good. Being a survivor, I know the pain & agony of fighting cancer. On #CancerSurvivorsDay I once again pledge to take care of those who are battling cancer. Don’t give up #TogetherWeCan @youwecan,” he wrote.
