MTV Roadies X1 - Ride For Respect (MTV)
Are you a tough cookie? Can you handle extreme pressure situations which include fights, anger, humiliation? If yes, then Roadies is where you should be. This MTV reality show has had the youth of India hooked on since its inception. The angry brothers Raghu and Ram along with the dashing ex Roadie Rannvijay have proved themselves to be able hosts. India's Got Talent (Colors)
The first talent show that professes to unearth the best of unknown acts and talents from India. The USP of the show is that it has no age limitation. Be it singing, dancing, illusion, painting or any other special talent that you posses, you can compete in this reality show where your talent would be pitted against others who excel in different fields. Not exactly a level playing field but definitely worth the audience's moolah.
India's Best Dramebaaz (Zee TV)
This reality show looks out for young actors. If you are in the age group of 5-12 and have enough acting chops in place, you are tailor made to be on India's Best Dramebaaz. This show emerged as one of a kind designed to discover young actors of our country. The show was judged by actor Vivek Oberoi, Sonali Bendre and director Anurag Basu.
Splitsvilla 6 - Hot As Hell (MTV)
Hot as hellfire bikini beauties canoodling with good looking guys make for an excellent visual treat. Season 6 had sex bomb Sherlyn Chopra as the hostess and the season was aptly titled 'Hot as Hell.' Kerala was chosen as the destination for the season and as usual amidst catfights, love, sex and other lusty drama there emerged a winner.
Bigg Boss Season – 7 (Colors)
Sallu bhai hosted the most controversial reality show and got himself mired in some unnecessary controversy courtesy his volatile temper. The channel didn't mind though since it provided fodder that kept audience hooked. Not to forget the romance that blossomed between two pairs- Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan, Tanisha and Armaan Kohli.
Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Season - 5 (Colors)
Rohit Shetty took on the mantle of hosting this season. Riding high on his image of being a successful action director, Rohit personally assigned tasks to contestants. Actor Rajneesh Duggal emerged as the winner.
