MUMBAI : Samar Vermani is a well-known face in the world of Indian Television. The actor who gained immense popularity for his role in the show Aangan Aapno Ka spoke about sustaining as an actor if your show goes off-air. He also gave an insight on financial stability, with a focus on prudent use of surplus income.
Samar revealed in an interview, “I hope I invest wisely and I save wisely.I am from a middle class family. My parents have taught me one thing. There is a saying that you should spread your legs as much as you can. But here it is the opposite. When you work, your skin spreads a lot. But I try to keep my limit as much as I can and whatever I am earning extra, I invest it wisely. So because of that, I keep studying about the financial things also. Where can we invest? It could be the stock market or mutual funds or whatever. So yeah, I think when you are in your late 20s or early 30s, every individual whether a professional or an artist should also consider about that factor also that you know you have to invest for your future. If you have done your investments wisely so that will really help you in the future. So yeah I hope I do that I try doing that for sure yeah.”
On his challenges as an actor Samar revealed, “I think it's not just an actor. There are always challenges in an artist's life because that comes with the profession. It's a very insecure and very non-sustainable kind of profession. You don't have a fixed job where you know you'll get a salary every month and increment after a month. It's not like that here. Today I'm the lead of the show, the so-called hero. But if I don't have this show tomorrow, I'll come back to the same stage where I need to audition and test and all that jazz. So ups and downs do happen here. I was aware of it before I came in this profession.”
Aagan Aapno Ka is going off-air this month.
