The entry of Abhimanyu Singh Yadav (Mohit Malik) was touted to bring in the next big track in Star Plus' long running show <em>Pratigya</em>. In fact, his character was etched so strong that he happened to be the only male character who could give a '<em>kaante ki takkar</em>' to the male lead Krishna (Arhaan Behll). To top it all, the track and the character of Abhimanyu was very well accepted by the audience. And the fact that Abhimanyu was the illegitimate son of Sajjan Singh (Anupam Shyam) only

The entry of Abhimanyu Singh Yadav (Mohit Malik) was touted to bring in the next big track in Star Plus' long running show Pratigya. In fact, his character was etched so strong that he happened to be the only male character who could give a 'kaante ki takkar' to the male lead Krishna (Arhaan Behll). To top it all, the track and the character of Abhimanyu was very well accepted by the audience. And the fact that Abhimanyu was the illegitimate son of Sajjan Singh (Anupam Shyam) only
made the tale even more exciting as this paved the way for a summit clash between Krishna and Abhimanyu.
However, all the hype created around the character of Abhimanyu faded when he went out of Sajjan Singh's house all of a sudden after he got accepted by his father. And till date the character has not been shown again, and we hear that Mohit is not shooting for Pratigya right now.
And this makes us wonder what happened to the track and the character.
When we contacted Mohit Malik, he told us, “Yes, it’s been a week since I shot for Pratigya.”
We tried contacting producer Pearl Grey to get further information on the track that was cut short, but could not get through to her.
Let's hope we get to see some action between Krishna and Abhimanyu in the near future.
