Actor Abhinav Shukla is a typical ‘adventure sports junkie’. And when he is off the camera, he is always busy trekking, travelling and exploring newer destinations.
Recently, Abhinav was almost on the verge of making a comeback to TV with Zee TV’s Bandhan – Saari Umar Humein Sang Rehna Hai in the role of the male lead, post the 10 years leap.
However, the actor made a different choice instead.
Says Abhinav, “Yes, I was approached for the male lead’s role in Bandhan. But I did not take up the offer, as I am not in the mood of getting into daily soaps now. I would rather want to try my hand at anchoring. Also, my travel bag is always full, and I take off for an adventure trip whenever I want to. So it’s now time for some excitement in the form of adventure.”
As reported, Mrunal Jain who was last seen in Colors’ Uttaran has been roped in to play the lead post leap. The grown-up Darpan will be played by Chhavi Pandey.
As for Abhinav, he has always been seen in versatile roles in Jersey No. 10, Geet, Chhoti Bahu, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain, Hitler Didi.
And now, we wish he bags yet another classy role.
