Actor Arup Paul has been roped in for Anurag Pathak's Adi Shankaracharya

MUMBAI: Tellychakkar is back with the crispiest update from the world of television, we have always kept our promise to informing our readers first! 

Acclaimed writer Anirudh Pathak has penned scripts for many popular TV shows like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Siya Ke Ram, and Mahakumbh.

He added another feather to his cap by turning producer. He has produced popular and big-budget shows such as Prithvi Vallabh on Sony TV, Chandrashekhar on Star Bharat, and Dastaan-E- Mohabbat Salim Anarkali on Colors under his banner Writer's Galaxy Studios. Anirudh is bringing a series on the life of Adi Shankaracharya who was an Indian philosopher and theologian who consolidated the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta.

The series is slated to launch on one of the leading OTT platforms Hotstar.

According to our sources, the project will star actors namely Suhita Thatte (Agneepath), Gyan Prakash (Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai), and Anurag Sharma (Kumkum Bhagya, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein) playing an important character. 

Now the buzz is that actor Arup Paul who is known for his impeccable work in films and TV series has been roped in to play a sage in the show.
