MUMBAI: Television actor Sorab Bedi, known for his roles in Chand Jalne Laga and Dil Wali Dulha Le Jayegi, welcomed the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya with heartfelt devotion and a deep sense of gratitude. Embracing the essence of the festival, Bedi balanced tradition, spiritual connection, and community service in a personal and meaningful celebration.
This year, the actor began his day with a sacred offering prepared at home a traditional aloo puri meal cooked with the assistance of his househelp. Keeping the ritual simple yet significant, the offering was made with reverence, symbolizing purity and humility.
In keeping with Akshaya Tritiya’s traditional association with prosperity and growth, Bedi also purchased a small piece of gold not as a luxury, but as a symbol of eternal abundance and hope.
