MUMBAI : GEC television networks have been producing innovative news programs on a regular basis. Agnikund, the name of a new show, is about to debut. BT had previously revealed exclusively that Gautam Singh Vig and Akshita Mudgal had been cast as the show's stars. According to a show insider, legendary actress Shilpa Tulaskar would play Gautam's mother in the production.
The actress is well-known in the Marathi and Hindi film industries. She has worked on important TV and film productions. In addition to Shilpa, a fresh face will be featured as the parallel lead in the show. In the show, Harish Sharma will play Gautam's younger brother. The source also revealed specifics regarding the show, stating that the storyline will center on politics and that filming will shortly begin in Jammu.
Gautam, who acted in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, would be collaborating with Rashmi Sharma's production company for the second time. Among the television programs in which Gautam has made appearances are Naamkarann, Ishq Subhan Allah, Tantra, Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, Agni Vayu, and Juniooniyatt.
Gautam on choosing between Television shows and Films said, “I go with the flow. Most of us eventually aspire to enter films, but I will keep my options open until I secure a substantial role. I am realistic about not getting multiple opportunities to make a mark in Bollywood, so I am patiently waiting until I land a good project. I owe my success to television and will always hold it in high regard. TV serves as a workshop, and I continue to take up TV shows to enhance my skills and upgrade myself. Acting is a performing art, and without regular performance, growth is limited.”
Gautam has been part of shows like Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey, Half Marriage, Mitegi Laxman Rekha, Ishq Par Zor Nahi, and Iss Mod Se Jaate Hain. She last appeared in Tulsidham Ke Laddu Gopal.
