MUMBAI: Actor Ajay Singh Chaudhary, who was recently seen in filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia's action-thriller web series Crackdown, is currently basking in the success of his character.
Ajay played a terrorist in the web series and got appreciated for his performance.
Now, as he moves forward to his other projects, the talented actor might not be able to take much time out to watch television shows, but he updated about the ongoing popular reality television show Bigg Boss 14 - Ab Scene Paltega.
The talented actor talks about the format of the show and the reason behind bringing back ex-contestants in this season. "I feel that last season was very succesful and the only reason behind keeping them in this season is that audience can connect again and TRP gets good. Otherwise, we are accustomed to watching Bigg Boss with new contestants every year. Personally, for me I don't see the need of having the old contestants back," he says.
This year, every contestant is from showbiz, unlike the previous years. It has added a lot of glam-quotient to it. However, Ajay's favourite season is not this one.
"I liked that season where there were commoners and celebrities. It was a good combination. But it's not bad also that contestants are from showbiz. We get to know them more and more through this reality show and we get to see their real side which we can't see in general life. So, it's good. But I quite liked the thought of mixing commoners and celebrities. There was a lot of contrast and conflict. I think the show makers should try that again," he says.
Coming down to the current contestants, Ajay is of the opinion that Eijaz Khan can be a surprise package for the audience. "One of my favourite contestants is Eijaz Khan and he is a friend also. I think he will be the chupa rustam for the public. Besides him, I think Jasmin is good. She is doing well, Pavitra is doing well. These two are also chupa rustoms," he shares.
Who would he want to see in the Bigg Boss house? "There are some people I want to see in Bigg Boss house and not just one. I want to see Annirudh Dave in the house. We are friends and know each other really well. So there are many inside stories and I know him inside out. So, I would like to see how he behaves there and reacts to situations there. I want to see Himanshu Soni. I think he is the perfect contestant. So, I would like to see how they behave there," shares Ajay.
