Ali Asgar and Vishal Kotian to play Akbar and Birbal in Star Bharat’s next

MUMBAI : Acclaimed producer Nikhil Sinha is known for bringing TV shows which are grand, unique and big budgeted. He has enthralled the viewers with impressive shows like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Siya Ke Ram, Hatim, Prem ya paheli- Chandrakanta and the list goes on.

Nikhil Sinha is bringing back its historical comedy show Akbar Birbal back on TV. The show was launched on Big Magic however this time it will air on Star Bharat.

Akbar Birbal featured stellar casting including Kiku Sharda, Vishal Kotian, Kishwer Merchantt and Delnaaz Irani. The makers are looking for a fresh cast.

We hear that talented actor and comedian Ali Asgar will play Akbar while Vishal Kotian, who was originally part of Akbar Birbal, has been retained for the show and he will once again reprise the role of Birbal.

Ali Asgar was last seen in Star Plus’ Kanpur Wale Khuranas while Vishal played Ravan in Vighnaharta Ganesh.

As reported by us, actor Sumit Arora has also been retained for the show. He will play Akbar’s son.

We couldn’t get through Ali and Vishal for a comment.
