Alokk Narula and Ekta Kaul to feature in Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Alokk Narula and Ekta Kaul
This weekend’s love tale in Disney Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui will be a story that brings the classes to the masses, and opens gates for the masses to meet the classes. The episodic produced by BBC Worldwide Productions will feature Alokk Narula and Ekta Kaul in central roles. Alokk will essay the role of an auto rickshaw driver who would fall in love with the voice of a radio jockey, essayed by Ekta. The story would follow some cute moments wherein the guy with his tapori dialect would try to find about about the radio jockey and will ultimately meet her. He would also express his love in the weirdest way possible, only to get dejected with the jockey rejecting him. Reality will then strike Raghu (Alokk), and he would pledge to achieve something in life in order to get his love. Raghu would then join the same radio station in his new avatar. The manner in which the girl (Yoshica, essayed by Ekta) would fall in love with Raghu will make for an interesting tale. The story of course would have an unexpected twist in the end. The interesting aspect of this episode is that the sequences involving the radio station were shot at the BBC Worldwide office. When contacted, Alokk told Tellychakkar.com, “This is the kind of role I was looking for. The role is more or less like Salman Khan’s, wherein the man is gentle from heart but tough from outside. I essay the role of the auto rickshaw driver Raghuveer who falls for the voice of a jockey. The team at BBC has shot the episodic just like a film. There are very cute moments which show the purity and innocence of the guy. It was a great experience working with BBC. My co-star Ekta was also good to work with.” On shooting for real at the office of BBC Worldwide, Alokk expressed, “Yes, it was a complete chilled out feeling shooting at the BBC office. The ambience was so very suitable to that of a radio station. We shot for some interesting sequences at the BBC office.” We tried calling Ekta, but could not connect to her. Watch this episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui, produced by BBC on 24 August (Sunday).
