MUMBAI: Urfi Javed is a social media sensation. Her eccentric fashion choices and style has been grabbing everyone’s attention for some time now. The Meri Durga actress came into focus after her stint on Bigg Boss and has been on the radar ever since.
Paras Kalnawat on the other hand has been part of many successful shows in the past. However, his exit from India’s No. 1 show Anupamaa has grabbed more headlines than his other works.
Urfi and Paras met on the sets of the TV show ‘Meri Durga’ and fell in love and dated for around 5 months.
The couple then called it quits. The actress stated, “I wanted to break up with him one month after we got together. He was a kid. He was very possessive. He tried to woo me again by having 3 tattoos of my name, but who does that after one has parted ways? Surely, I wasn't going back to him just for the tattoos. Even if he had tattoos of my name all over his body, I wouldn't have.”

Despite Paras getting a tattoo of Urfi’s name, the latter wasn’t impressed and said that even if he covered his body with her name tattoos she wouldn’t want to get back with him.
However now, looks like things have mellowed down between the two and the staunch animosity has turned into a great friendship. Speaking about it, Paras stated to a news portal, “I harbor no ill feelings against Urfi. I dated her for six months around five years ago. Though it was short-lived, it was my first relationship. So, I obviously went gaga over her. I was just 19 then. But it ended and I moved on. As long as people who matter to me know me, and I know myself as a person, being called possessive doesn’t affect me.”

Paras further added, ‘“I have many female friends because they know that I won’t ever overstep the line. I don’t know what was going on in Urfi’s life when she said that about me. Also, I don’t worry about the past. I prefer to live in the present. Today, we are cordial and respect each other. I message her when I am in doubt. I take suggestions from her. Both of us are in a good space in life.”
Things seem to be great now between Urfi and Paras as the two bumped into each other at Anjali Arora’s birthday bash recently and danced together. Fans are super happy to see them turning friends once again.
