Amita Udgata who essayed the popular character of Dadi in Star Plus' Pratigya will soon return to the small screen with Sony Entertainment Television's <em>Maharana Pratap</em>, to be produced by Contiloe Telefilms.
The much talented lady will play the role of Dai Kokoi who is close to the youngest queen of Uday Singh.

Amita Udgata who essayed the popular character of Dadi in Star Plus' Pratigya will soon return to the small screen with Sony Entertainment Television's Maharana Pratap, to be produced by Contiloe Telefilms.
The much talented lady will play the role of Dai Kokoi who is close to the youngest queen of Uday Singh.
When contacted, Amita told us, "Yes, it looks as though I will be doing my first historical show with Maharana Pratap. Actually I auditioned for Panna Dai who guides the King. But now I will play another Dai close to the youngest Queen. She has a strong role to play."
As we have exclusively reported, Shakti Anand plays Uday Singh while Aashka Goradia essays Bhatiani, the youngest queen of Uday Singh.
