Amitabh Bachchan joins hands with Ekta Kapoor for Box Cricket League?

Ekta Kapoor, the Czarina of television has done it all!! And now, she is all set to come up with the survival of the fittest, via Box Cricket League, for which she has signed up more than 150 TV actors, both males and females as participants. The event is co organized by Marinating Films. Yes, BCL, this time around, will surely be ‘big’!! And we certainly mean so!! Well, the buzz doing rounds is that Ekta now wants the Superstar who just turned 72, Amitabh Bachchan to be involved at the inaugural event of BCL. A highly-placed source tells us, “Ekta wants Amitabh Bachchan to inaugurate proceedings in BCL. She is looking at getting the first ball bowled by the iconic star, and wants him to be the lucky charm of this year’s Box Cricket League which in most probability will air on Set Max or Sony SIX.’ As we know, the league which kick-starts from 20 November will have eight teams in total, battling it in an indoor cricket format. In addition to playing the game, the league will also have behind-the-scenes drama happening between the contestants. We dropped a text message to Ekta, asking her about the involvement of Amitabh Bachchan in BCL and she rubbished the entire development. Amitabh’s PR too declined any such buzz.
