Amritsar Idol in Ammaji Ki Galli

In the upcoming episodes viewers will witness a singing competition called Shaan-e-Amritsar in SAB TV’s Ammaji Ki Galli. A source tells us, “Women from Ammaji Ki Galli will be happy after having a nice jagrata and will want to offer their thanks to Goddess by offering mata ka chatter for which they would require money. In the meanwhile, Roshni (Kanika Verma) will come across an advertisement of Shaan -e-Amritsar singing competition which will hold prize money of Rs 21,000 for the winner. Roshni will tell the other women about it and they will decide to form a band called Parminder & Group and participate in the competition. One of the competitors will spike Parminder’s drink who is the lead vocalist of Ammaji Ki Galli’s band and her throat will turn sore. So to save themselves from embarrassment they will sing a remixed folk song in the form of a rock song. Eventually they will win the competition and will be able to offer their prayers to the Goddess by offering mata ka chatter.” We tried contacting Rakshandha Khan who essays Parminder on the show but she remained unavailable.
