"Anupamaa" debuted on the small screen on July 13 and quickly became the audience's favourite. The relatable content and striking performances has been appreciated by all. The show is the story of a mother who always puts her family first and has given her all to them. Talking about the show, she said, "When it comes to a mother it gets really emotional because she is not just a birth giver but also the strength of a family, the person who nourishes the entire family without expecting anything in return, therefore the show was my personal favorite even before I became a part of it. I can relate to the story and the endless love a mother can give to her children and family while keeping her desires aside. I am thrilled that the audience is loving the show and I wish this love continues as we move our story forward."
The entire entertainment industry was shut down because of the Coronavirus pandemic and the consequent lockdown. The shooting resumed last month with some government-approved guidelines and precautionary measures. Anagha says she is taking proper precautions and shared, "The hygiene level has increased. I am washing my hands frequently, maintaining social-distance, wearing masks and I am not using a cab but a personal vehicle to go on the set."
Because of the COVID situation a lot of actors are doing their own make up, but she said, "Due to the pandemic, the entire team is taking a lot of precautions therefore my makeup is done by the team but with proper care and safety measures."
Asked how she unwinds after a long tiring day, she said, "Touchwood I have supportive parents who take care of me whenever I am back from a tiring shoot. My mum cooks a delicious hot meal and I remember, once my feet were hurting because of a long dance shoot sequence so my dad prepared a relaxing hot salt water so that my feet could relax a bit. It’s because of them I could fulfill my dreams."
"Anupamaa" also features Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Aashish Mehrotra and Muskaan Bamne. It airs Monday to Saturday on Star Plus.
