Sanity returns to proceedings on Ek Se Badhkar Ek. In the days gone by Abhijeet Bhattacharya quit as a judge only to return again, host Ravi Kissen, unfortunately, will no longer be part of the show and Mandira Bedi willl replace him.
Amidst all this, one lost track of the real action. News has it that one of the wild card entrants Aanchal Dwivedi and her singer partner Aishwarya Nigam have been eliminated.
Our source from the sets informs, “It was a short stay for Aanchal and Aishwarya as they failed to make the cut. However, this episode will be remembered as Ravi Kissen’s last day on the show. All contestants were sad that this would be the last day for Ravi. They had even persuaded him to stay but he had prior commitments. No one expected him to leave the show early.”
More unexpected scenes unfolded on this day. Our source adds, “Abhijeet apologised to everyone for his actions. However, he still maintained that he stands by his ideology and explained how Indian singers miss out when outsiders are given preference. However, he was pretty fair in judging Pakistani contestant Mussarat.
Another unexpected development was in the form of judges Abhijeet and Ahmed Khan awarding 10 marks each to Kushal Punjabi and his partner Sanchita.”
All we have to say is brace yourselves for more unexpected things on this show.
