Angad Hasija is having a whale of time on the sets of Bidaai. The actor is very happy with the diversities his character offers him. He is playing the role of a mentally handicapped Alekh in the show and in the coming episode he is getting yet another opportunity to do something different. The actor will be Lord Krishna for a special sequence.
Informs the actor, “My on-screen younger brother Ranbir aka Kinshuk Mahajan organises a play based on Lord Krishna wherein, I essay the role of Lord Krishna and Sara plays Radha. It was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed every bit of it. The character has given me a wonderful opportunity to do something different rather than just doing the run-of-the-mill kind of role.”
But transforming into Lord Krishna wasn’t easy for the actor as it required him to be seated for 4 hours for make-up. “The make-up artist had to paint me blue and it was not an easy job. It used to take four hours to wear the make-up and three-four hours to remove it. As a result of applying the paint I have sustained rashes and boils all over my body as my skin is very sensitive. Through this sequence we are trying to spread the message that one shouldn’t go by the physical appearance but look for the beauty within. The episode is expected to air today,” adds Angad.
Well Angad we can just say that no pain no gain!
