Anita Kanwal and Asif Sheikh join Ring Wrong Riing

TellyChakkar had earlier reported about Muskaan Mihani, Delnaaz Paul and veteran actor Rakesh Bedi being finalised for Sab TV’s new magical-comedy Ring Wrong Riing. News is more popular names have been added to the cast. Anita Kanwal currently seen playing Ishaan’s dadi in Sasuraal Genda Phool along with Asif Shiekh of Yeh Chandaa Kanoon Hai have also been brought in to play central characters in the comedy. Also Ajita Kulkarni a regular face in commercials is part of the cast. Says a source, “Delnaaz, Rakesh, Muskaan, Ajita, Anita and Asif plays central characters. They have already shot for a promo yesterday. Delnaaz plays Bindu a snob, who is a meethi-choori and likes to show off, Ajita plays a character, someone like Basanti of Sholay, talkative but nice and she is fond of Mansi (Muskaan) but doesn’t like Bindu. Anita plays Mansi’s irritating mother-in-law, who continues creating problems in her bahu’s life in a humorous way. Asif plays Mansi’s husband, good-hearted and a simpleton, who often gets in to trouble due to his wife Mansi, who owes magical powers. Rakesh plays his father who’s a ‘dead’ magician.” Kanwal and Shiekh confirmed the news. Says Sheikh, “Yes I am happy doing a show like this as it’s a well-crafted show, but I can’t reveal much now.” Kanwal adds, “I play a very irritating mother-in-law.” Looks like the show is going to ring in trouble and some more.
