The birth of his second child is certainly bringing lot of happiness to Anoop Soni. The actor has completed shooting for two films and now he returns to television with a show on the soon-to-be-launched GEC Colors.
Anoop says, “I’m doing a daily show for Colors that is being produced by Sphere Origins. I’m kind of playing the parallel lead. It’s not a saas-bahu saga. I can’t reveal you anything more.”
The show also has actors like Bhairavi Raichuria and Smita Bansal. Though the two actresses refused to comment on their roles but they did admit to being part of the show.

Coming back to Anoop, the actor is ell excited about his forthcoming films. “I’ve finished shooting for my two films Striker and Chal Chale. The latter has Mithun Chakraborty and Rati Agnihotri. It’s a film which deals in juvenile suicides. Mithun and I play lawyers, who deal in one such particular case,” he sighs.
With his hands tied with work, Anoop seldom gets time to be with his new born. “The last couple of months have been very hectic. I’ve hardly spent much time with my family. So I do make the most of my offs, which generally tends to be on a Sunday. I do all those things which a father would do. Be it changing diapers or cleaning the poop,” says Anoop proudly.
