MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings.
These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative, where the show has taken a fifteen years leap and the kids are all grown up and are living with Anupamaa and the problems surrounding her don't end.
The current track focuses on the entry of the Kotari family (Prem's family), who are opposed to the Shah family, particularly Anupama and Rahi, and have advised them not to enter the house after discovering Prem and Rahi's relationship.
In the upcoming episode, Vasudhara would fall ill and in order to feel better she would plead Prem and Rahi to get married, which would shock the duo and they wouldn’t know what to do.
But somewhere Prem and Rahi wouldn’t agree to the condition as they are mentally ready to get married and are worried that the Kotari family is planning something against them and they aren’t getting a good vibe from them.
Netizens also want Rahi and Prem to take their time and not get married in a rush as they want them to set an example for today’s youth and not get married in pressure.
Some also said that the mentality of Vasudhara shouldn’t be encouraged as this is what the society thinks and youngsters get into the pressure to get married and then land up in divorce.
Audiences also feel that if Rahi and Prem don’t get married there is a possibility that the Kotari will choose Mahi for Prem.

Sanjana Satyaprakash: Despite Vasudhara's illness, I believe Rahi and Prem shouldn't give in to the pressure to get married so quickly. Her thinking shouldn't be supported, and Rahi and Prem should take their time and serve as an example for today's youth, who should avoid getting married under duress as this could lead to divorce. I hope Rahi and Prem both choose wisely.
Prem Kishen Mathur: Since Rahi and Prem would serve as role models for today's generation, they will not marry under duress. I disagree with Vasudhara's viewpoint. It's really retrograde, in my opinion, and such ideas are still prevalent in society today. As a result, Rahi and Prem should lead by example and resist giving in to these ideas.
Priya Chopra: Since the Kotari family is already upset with Rahi and Prem for not getting married, I believe they would pick Mahi for Prem and arrange for the two to be married. Sushmita Khanna: Rahi and Prem would undoubtedly set an example for the current generation by refusing to consent to the marriage simply because Vasudhara is ill. This is wrong, and I hope Anupama would counsel them on this. When elders emotionally blackmail their children, they leave them with no other choice, but when you realize they are wrong, you have to stand up. I hope Rahi and Prem do the same, but I have a feeling that Parag will arrange for Mahi and Prem to get married.
