MUMBAI: There are a lot of women who get married and are bound by the four walls of the house. Their primary focus is to cook and take care of the children while the men focus on their careers and make all the important household decisions.

Over the period of time, women have become more career oriented and can compete with men shoulder to shoulder. In fact, they have become more competent as they manage home and office. (Also Read: Ishqbaaaz, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 and other TV sequences which made the audience extremely EMOTIONAL)

Anupamaa

Starring Rupali Ganguly in the titular role, Anupamaa was a typical housewife until she decided to stand up for herself and have an individual identity.

Pushpa Impossible

The daily soap stars Karuna Pandey in the leading role. Pushpa Randeriya Patel, a 45-year-old woman from Patan and who lives in the Bapodra Chawl of Mumbai with her children: shows an uneducated woman using her smartness by starting her business to run her family.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin

We shall go back to the first season of the show which featured Ayesha Singh, Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt in the leading roles. Sai Virat Chauhan wanted to become an IAS officer and she struggled hard to educate herself despite being stopped by her family.

Diya Aur Baati Hum

Featuring Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid, Sandhya performed all household duties and was a perfect housewife, daughter-in-law and career oriented too! Eventually her in-laws were also proud of her.

Kavya - Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon

Kavya has struggled hard so much that she left her boyfriend initially as she wanted to pursue IAS. Later she married Adiraj and now that the show has taken a leap and features Mudit Nayyar too. Kavya becomes a successful business professional and her new transformation is applaud worthy. The show stars Sumbul Touqeer as the female lead and Adiraj is played by Mishkat Varma.
