Archana Puran Singh kick-starts her shoot for The Kapil Sharma Show

MUMBAI: Those who love Archana Puran Singh can smile as the lady has kick-started the shooting for the comedy TV series, The Kapil Sharma Show.

The well-known film and television personality took to her social media handle to share a picture from the show. In the picture, she can be seen posing with Kapil Sharma.

Defining Kapil as ‘laughter king,’ Archana wrote on her Instagram page, "On the set right now with Kapil ! Old associations renewed with the fun gang... taking a selfie break with the laughter king @kapilsharma."

Archana Puran Singh has replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu on The Kapil Sharma Show after his remarks on Pulwama Terror attack.  He was condemned when he said, “For a 'handful of people', can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished."

His statement did not go down well with people and soon there was a trend to boycott Kapil Sharma's comedy show on Twitter. Sony TV responded promptly by sacking Sidhu. The channel brought on board Archana as the celebrity judge.
