MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is one of the most watched shows currently. It is a reboot of the 2001 series Kasautii Zindagii Kay and stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in lead roles.
Parth plays Anurag Basu, while Erica is seen as Prerna Sharma.
Another important role in the story is that of Mr Bajaj. The iconic role was played by Ronit Roy in the first part. Now, the viewers are eagerly waiting for Mr Bajaj in the reboot version.
There were reports that TV actors like Hiten Tejwani, Eijaz Khan, Iqbal Khan, Samir Kochhar, Karan Wahi and Karan Singh Grover were approached for the role.
SpotboyE.com had reported that Karan Wahi was finalised for the role and he was also on the verge of signing the contract, but, he got replaced by Karan Singh Grover. Makers are yet to make an announcement on the same.
Now, according to the latest report in the portal, Bollywood actors Arjun Rampal and Milind Soman were also approached by Ekta, but nothing materialised on that front.
