Ashish Sharma is honoured to play young Narendra Modi

MUMBAI: Ashish Sharma is a well-known face of the small screen. He has played variety of roles in his acting career. He is known for his roles of Prithvi Vallabh in Prithvi Vallabh, Lord Rama in Siya Ke Ram, Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat in Rangrasiya, Chandragupta Maurya in Chandragupta Maurya, and many more. 

The actor also acted in Dibakar Banerjee’s anthology drama, Love Sex Aur Dhoka. 

And now, Ashish will be seen in a web show. He has been roped in to play the role of none other than young Narendra Modi in the Umesh Shukla directorial. The show will showcase an unseen side of Narendra Modi’s life. 

Ashish is excited to be a part of the web show. He said to media, “It’s a huge responsibility as I have to take forth a chapter of his life which is not much documented and still needs to be told, because that journey laid the ground of the individual that he is today. I feel extremely responsible and honoured at the same time to be portraying one of the most prolific leaders of our time."
