MUMBAI: Anupamaa is one of the most loved shows of television.
A remake of Aai Kuthe Kai Karte, a Marathi television show, the serial showcases Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey in the lead roles. The audience is enjoying the daily dose of drama and spice the programme is bringing on the screens however, the audience has also noticed that the actors add a few nuances of some Bollywood actors.
Aakruti Deshmukh shares, “I feel Rupali’s acting is more on the lines of Sridevi. The way she acts and behaves, even her dialogue delivery somewhere reminds me of the Bollywood actress.”
Krutika Desai adds, “Not only Rupali, for that matter even Samar’s (Paras Kalnawat) acting is similar to that of Akshay Khanna and Nandini’s (Anagha Bhosale) dialogue delivery is like that of Juhi Chawla!”
Ami Vaidya opines, “I feel all the actors are very real but yes, they do remind us of some Bollywood celebrities while enacting certain scenes.”
