MUMBAI: Actress Shamin Mannan who is currently seen as Koel in Ram Pyaare Sirf Hamare feels being competitive is a good trait but simultaneously you also need to be happy about yourself and the way you are. She says,” We are often asked about what we dislike about ourselves. I am extremely ambitious and competitive and thus am very focused on my ambitions. I always look for perfection and for that I sometimes don’t have peace of mind. So I feel we should not take our life very seriously. And one more thing which I need to control is my anger. I had a very bad temper but I have really worked on that and now the level of anger is much subsidized unless and until someone pokes me badly.
Shamin also feels, not only as a person she also wants some changes in the society as well. She adds,”The patriarchal mentality of our society is one of the reasons for so many rapes in our country. The patriarchal mindset need to eradicated completely. So should covid19 which has given us such nightmares in 2020. We are all eagerly waiting for the vaccine to come,so we can all breathe without mask.” Shamin is getting a lot of good feedback for her role. She is flooded with messages on her social media too.
