She shared, “My character Nandini is a successful professional. She's had a rough childhood since she lost her parents at a very early age. There is a deep, dark secret that lies within her due to which she is unable to get over her past.”
It is often seen whenever there is a love triangle in a show, the third character turns negative so when we quizzed Khushboo about her character following the trend, she said, “There is twist to the story. If I had to portray a grey shade then it would have been an easy task but our directors have some other plans. We will never turn Nandini into a negative character. No one is negative, every character is realistic.”
Talking about her bonding her co-star the actress said, "I am an introvert so take time to gel with people. On the other hand, Gaurav Khanna is a fun-loving guy. I have a lot of scenes with him and very few with Shefali. I am working with a wonderful team.”
When asked what she would have been, if not an actor, she quipped, “I am a hotel management graduate. I used to work at ITC Grand Maratha. I used to do night shifts in hotel and used to go for auditions in the morning. I must add that my parents have also supported me a lot.”
Talking about her debut on TV as a lead, she averred, “Indian television is a very big thing. There are a lot of people who dream of becoming an actor. If I have got this opportunity then I am very thankful to this universe. I have been reading interviews of other actors on Tellychakkar.com. Now, I am getting featured on the site. This is a dream come true and a big opportunity for me.”
She also talked about her biggest support. "My parents were the biggest support. They told me to leave my job and enter the entertainment industry. When you are successful, everybody is quiet and if you are struggling then no one supports. I did not have pocket money but my dad used to help me. Through these times, I have learnt not to hurt my parents,” observed the actress.
When asked about marriage, she said, “I am not keen on getting married. I am happy with my parents. I still have that question that why people marry when their lives are so good. My younger sister and I are treated as boys in the house. I want my dream man to be my best friend. I believe in ‘love is friendship'." We hope you get your dream man.
All the best, girl!
