MUMBAI: Bhagyalakshmi, a Zee TV show, tells the story of Lakshmi's life taking an unexpected turn when she marries a wealthy businessman named Rishi Oberoi. Despite this, when she learns the truth about her marriage, she feels betrayed.

One of Zee TV's most popular shows is Bhagyalakshmi, starring Rohit Suchanti and Aishwarya Khare. Among the other stars of the show are Aman Gandhi, Maera Mishra, Munira Kudrati, and Smita Bansal.

Popular Television actress Maera Mishra who plays the role of Malishka Bedi, has been winning the hearts of viewers with her amazing performance in the show. The actress who was admitted into hospital three days ago said, “I felt feverish two days before Diwali while shooting for the show. However, I dismissed it as a viral fever. I went to my hometown, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), to celebrate Diwali with my family and didn’t pay much attention to my health. I returned to Mumbai on October 26 and started shooting the following day. I started feeling sick again and got a high fever. The production team asked me to go home immediately and told me to rest. I returned to the set the next day even though I was unwell. That’s when my brother asked me to undergo a test. I did it on the set and by evening, I knew that I had dengue.”

Maera who is recovering well said, “My platelet count at the moment is low and I am feeling extremely weak. I am on a liquid diet. Fortunately, my brother and my bhabhi are here with me and taking care of me. I am hoping to be discharged in a couple of days.”

The current track incidentally focuses on Maera’s character. Being a pivotal part of the show, she said, “They were quite confused and stressed, as the ongoing track focused on my character. But they have been extremely accommodating and told me to take care of my health first.”  

We wish the actress a speedy recovery.
