‘Bhoot Aaya’ - the new horror show on Sony Entertainment Television!!

Akashdeep Sabir and Sheeba
Actors Akashdeep Sabir and Sheeba will soon bring real-life horror stories on to the small screen!! Sony Entertainment Television will soon air a weekly horror show titled ‘Bhoot Aaya’. Produced by Akashdeep and Sheeba’s Cinetek Telefilms Pvt. Ltd, the show will showcase interesting real ghost experiences of people. Earlier, the show was planned with a different format with a narrator being on board. As per sources, talks were on with Bollywood personality Manoj Bajpai to be the anchor. However, the channel and the makers have now revisited the format and have decided to go into the cases directly, without having an anchor. Our source also told us that Cinetek has collaborated with the Indian Paranormal Society headed by Mr. Gaurav Tiwari. The society has in fact dug into the real cases to see whether they are indeed real and not fictional. The show will also have the real people facing the camera and talking about their ghostly experiences. Bhoot Aaya will air from 29 September 2013 and will get the 11 PM slot on Sony Entertainment Television. When contacted, Producer Akashdeep told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, it is true that we are coming up with a horror show on Sony TV. We have started shoot in the outskirts of Mumbai. The show will have real-life cases of people encountering ghosts and paranormal elements.” Akashdeep’s Cinetek is also making the movie Santa Banta. Ayush Raina who directed Vikram Bhatt’s Horror Story will be directing this horror series.
