Big Switch 2 with its new host launches on Friday

TellyChakkar had earlier reported about Big Switch 2 returning on UTV Bindass with a change in its switching patterns, that is, switching your parents. Former VJ Gaurav Kapur will host the show. The reality dose witnesses a switch of parents and kids beginning this Friday at 7 pm. The show kicks off with a high voltage drama. Before the switch, parents and the kids take a pledge to fulfill a tangible wish of the winning participant. For instance, if the kid loses then he or she has to fulfill a wish of the parent. And this is judged at the end with information and observations collected from the participants, anchors and guest judges (if any) as they meet with the family in focus and provide them with suggestions for a more stress-free relationship. After they announce the winner, the losing team has to fulfill the wish on camera. The opening episode has Feroz Khan, a spoilt brat who lives to party, doesn't care about college, his future and lives life on the edge – his motto in life being alcohol and cigarettes! Set against the backdrop of Dehradun, Feroz’s family traits completely contradict his lifestyle, thus urging him to experience ‘the big switch’. Unaware of what lies ahead, Feroz is in for a complete shock as Rajiv and Sunita Mishra, his swapped family turn out to be exceedingly strict - commanding him to exercise, wake up early, stop smoking, change his lifestyle, dress sense, make him do just about everything against his will. Unable to withhold the pressure, an angry Feroz ends up fighting, yelling and arguing. Meanwhile, the situation brews up at Feroz’s own home as Jazz, a trans-gender makeup artist (a female who was born male) steps in to stay with his parents. After the initial embarrassment of sharing their space with a trans-gender, the parents gradually bond with Jazz and turn into her foster parents. Will a livid Feroz survive it all?
