Meet Jaspreet Kaur, the young, bubbly, cheerful lady hailing from Delhi, who will soon be seen in bindass’ new venture Kota Toppers (Bodhi Tree Productions). With a background in media studies, the lady will soon be stepping into small screen, where she will be seen essaying the character of Rhea.
When we had a conversation with the young lady, speaking about her character, she said, “My character Rhea is a textile student, who stays with her mother in Kota. While her mother earns their living by running a paying guest home, she dreams to make it big. And for that she plans to get hitched to any young IIT students, who will eventually land up with a secured, luxurious job”.
Ask her about the similarities between Rhea and Jaspreet, the young actor quickly quipped, “Honestly saying, I can’t relate to my character at all. I am an independent woman and if I want to achieve something, I will do it on my own. For a better life, I don’t need to be dependent on someone. Having, said that I would like to add that Rhea is one resourceful woman, as she cleverly tries to impress men”.
So, Jaspreet has it ever happened that you have tried impress someone in real life. Recalling such a moment, Jaspreet shared, “During my school days, on a Valentine’s day my friends challenged me to gift a particular guy a balloon. The young man was sitting on his bike across the road. And when I went there and gave him the balloon, he asked me how much is the price. Oh yes, he counted me as one of roadside vendors, selling balloons (laugh)”.
Ouch!!!
We wish you all the best lady.
