MUMBAI: Rahul Vaidya has carved a path for himself in the music industry. He is a popular singer. The crooner started his journey in the industry by participating in singing reality show Indian Idol in 2004. With his talent, he managed to make it to the finale.
Currently, he is making headlines for his participation in reality show Bigg Boss 14.
Now, here’s a piece of information for the fans of Rahul Vaidya. The singer was once scolded by judges Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik for his over confidence. The judges blasted him and now video of that old episode is making rounds on social media.
The video sees a teenage Rahul singing popular Bollywood number 'Pretty Woman' from the film 'Kal Ho Na Ho'.
As soon as Rahul ends the song, Sonu Nigam tells him, 'Main aapse ek baat karna chah raha hoon. Rahul aap har performance ke saath bat se batar hue jaa rahe hain. Jo aapne sabse pehle gaya tha, vo itna accha gaya tha ki Anu ji ne aapse kaha tha tu aagaya re. Aur maine kaha tha ki last teen mein jo bachenge aap usme aayenge. Uske baad jab aapne gaya to usi gaane ko thoda kharab gaya. Jo aapne kal gaya vo bhi itna accha nahi gaya. Aaj aapne bhaut hi kharab gaya".
Agreeing with Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik tells him, “Itna overconfidence hai aapko apne aap par, aisa kyun hai?”
