MUMBAI: Ever since filmmaker Sajid Khan was announced to be a contestant on the controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss, a big debate had started about whether he should be allowed to stay in the show or not. Some have said he should be given another chance, but some have said that he will repeat his mistake and shouldn’t be allowed. Sajid Khan was accused for sexual assault in the #MeToo movement by 9 women. Actress Sherlyn Chopra has recently been raising her voice in protest to Sajid Khan and his involvement in the show. She recently filed a complaint against him at the Juhu Police station on October 19. She even recorded a new statement with them.
As reported by a well-known media portal, a woman officer recorded Sherlyn's statement after which she was assured that Sajid Khan would be summoned by the police for the investigation. Sherlyn also questioned Salman Khan. She said that Salman Khan is ignoring the plight of women and is not taking a stand on this. Sherlyn said that it is unfortunate that Sajid Khan is in the Bigg Boss house.
A while back, even actor Ali Fazal opposed Sajid Khan's entry into the Bigg Boss 16 house. He shared a picture on Instagram about removing Sajid from Bigg Boss 16, which had gone viral all over the news. Other stars like Sona Mohapatra, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, and more demanded his removal as well. But some also said that he deserves a second chance.
