MUMBAI: As per earlier reports,Bigg Boss OTT Season 4 was reportedly shelved — at least for the time being.
The digital edition of the popular reality franchise, which has cultivated a loyal viewership, will not be airing as originally planned, sparking a wave of speculation across social media.
The reason was because the makers has decided to shift their complete focus towards the upcoming Bigg Boss Season 19, which is set to return to television with what promises to be a historic and extended run.
Sources suggest the creative team is working on making this season one of the most unforgettable in the show’s legacy.
The previous season of Bigg Boss OTT, which saw Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor step into the role of host, may not have reached the viral heights of earlier editions, but it still delivered a commendable performance in terms of engagement and viewership.

Should this plan move forward, Bigg Boss OTT 4 would premiere in August, followed by Bigg Boss Season 19 hitting television screens in October.
