MUMBAI: Colors show Durga was a tale of a tribal girl who defies social expectations to follow her love for the royal heir Anurag and become a doctor, despite opposition from strong tribal woman Paani Bai.

The show starred Pranali Rathod as Durga, Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai, and Aashay Mishra as Anurag, Produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show was set in Jodhpur and the story followed Durga, a tribal girl aspiring to become a doctor.

The show did well as per the TRP ratings but went off-air soon, leaving fans wanting for more.

Even though the show went off-air on January 5th this year, talks about the show did not stop as the fans loved Aashay Mishra and Pranali Rathod’s chemistry.

Earlier, Aashay Mishra gave a clarification that contradicting to the rumours, he shares a close bond of friendship with Pranali.

In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Aashay Mishra was asked what would be his decision if he was ever approached for Bigg Boss.

Aashay Mishra said, “I’m never a Bigg Boss fan. I’ve never been a Bigg Boss fan, I’ve never followed Bigg Boss. That is not the kind of reality show I would ever want to be a part of.”
