Bournvita Quiz Contest is back

It’s good news for the kids. Bournvita Quiz Contest is back on Colors. Soumya Tandon, who co-hosted this show along with quiz master Derek O’Brien last season, will host the show for this season as well. She spoke to Tellychakkar.com, “We will go on air from Sunday 29 January 2012 at 10.30 am. This season will have 14 episodes. ”Talking further about the concept which first began as radio quiz show years ago and later moved to TV (first on Sony then on Colors) she says, “The contest is open to students belonging to class 7 and 8.” In fact, she was amazed at the response the show got, “Just how serious the quizzing is can be judged by the fact that over 4500 schools participated in the ground event and finally 27 schools were chosen for the TV event.” In fact, Soumya who also hosts another show (DID 3 on Zee TV) is excited to be a part of the quiz contest, “I thoroughly enjoyed season 1 as interacting with kids is a different experience, altogether. I also learnt a lot of general knowledge in the bargain.”(Smiles) This is one show that's sure to garner a lot of eyeballs, at least from the kids around the country!
