We have learnt that Star Plus’ popular show Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey, produced by Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar under their banner Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment, will soon witness a new entry.

According to our sources, actor Imran Khan, who has been part of entertainment industry for decades now has played varied roles in shows like Dastaan, Parampara, Ajnabi, Nagin, Chandni, Aashirwad, Astitwa, Ammaji Ki Gali and many more, has been roped in for the show.

We hear that Imran will be playing Delnaaz Irani’s husband in the show. The actor has started shooting and his entry is expected to air very soon.

We could not get through him for a comment.

Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey star Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi in the lead roles. The show is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali language show Khorkuto.

The pairing of Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi is quite fresh and the storyline brings back the memories of the '90s, the family looks fun-loving with characters who love music and cricket. Anubhav, a middle-class joint family scientist, and Gungun, a selectively empathic rich pampered brat, are the central characters of the show.
