MUMBAI: On the occasion of telly couple Barkha Sengupta-Indraneil Sengupta's 13th Marriage Anniversary, Barkha surprised her hubby by gifting him his much-longed car.
While the couple gave a glimpse of their purchase on social media, Barkha exclusively revealed about her three-month-long secret surprise by saying, “It was a long process. Neil has been longing this car and I thought of gifting it to him on our anniversary. But the problem was when I booked it in November, they said it would take 6-7 months for the car to come. I kind of freaked out. I got in touch with the head of the car company and requested them to hurry the process as it was meant to be a gift.”.
On their anniversary, Indraneil was out of town and once he was back Barkha took him out saying they were going for a test drive. Barkha shared, “I told him that we are going to see the car. He was like the 5-yr-old kid who was jumping in joy after getting his favourite toy. He told me I am the best wife ever. It was a huge burden on me to keep a surprise for four months. It is very difficult to keep a surprise from Neil because he is very good at guessing.”.

Barkha also revealed that their closest friend Karanveer Mehra was her accomplice in keeping the secret. The actor also accompanied them to capture their special moment.
The actress further shared that she would have to get Indraneil sign the papers secretly and jokingly said that she can easily get his property. “He was actually surprised about the fact that I could keep a surprise. I took his signatures without letting him know what papers he is signing on. I told I can easily take away your money by making you sign any paper. Now he is joining all the dots when I made him sign those papers.”.
The actress who was last seen in Shaadi Mubarak, said she is taking a break for now. She said, “TV kind of gets into you. I am taking a break for now but will surely see if any opportunity comes my way.”.
