MUMBAI: MasterChef India is one of the most-watched cooking reality shows on Indian television. The show first aired on StarPlus and later shifted to Sony TV.
Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapur, and Ajay Chopra were the judges for the first season of MasterChef India on StarPlus. In addition to them, Vikas Khanna, Sanjeev Kapoor, Ranveer Brar, Zorawar Kalra, and Vineet Bhatia, among others have served as judges in MasterChef India - Hindi over the years.
The new season of the show is set to premiere soon and this season’s judges include Chef Vikas Khanna, and Chef Ranveer Brar and the show is hosted by Farah Khan.

The confirmed contestant of the show are Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Dipika Kakar, Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh, Usha Nadkarni, Abhijeet Sawant, Chandan Prabhakar, and Kabita Singh.
All the contestants are fighting for the immunity pin and we did see how Chandan, Kabita and Abhijeet are eliminated from the task.
In yesterday’s episode, the contestants had to replicate a dish just like Vikas Khanna and it was a very tough dish to prepare.
At the end, Gaurav, Tejasswi and Dipika were the top three contestants who had made the best dishes.
The judges then chose Dipika’s dish as the winner and the actress won the immunity pin and she became the first celebrity chef to win it.
The judges felt that her dish was very close to Vikas Khanna and she hardly had any mistakes hence she won.
Well, Dipika has been impressing the judges with her cooking skills since the first episode.
