MUMBAI: As Celebrity MasterChef India sizzles towards a nail-biting finale, the competition has reached boiling point, with the nation eagerly awaiting the crowning of its first-ever celebrity champion.
With the grand finale just around the corner, tension is high in the kitchen as the remaining contestants battle it out for culinary glory.
However, amidst all the drama and excitement, fans were left shocked when popular actress and Bigg Boss 12 winner, Dipika Kakar, had to make an unexpected exit from the show due to an injury.

Dipika, who had been impressing both the judges and the audience with her flair for cooking, was forced to step down — a decision that took everyone by surprise.
In a recent vlog shared by comedian Bharti Singh, she opened up about Dipika’s departure and the emotional toll it took. The vlog, filmed during the underwater-themed birthday celebrations of Bharti’s son, Laksh (fondly known as Golla), offered a heartfelt glimpse into the strong bond between the two stars.
The birthday bash, held to mark Laksh’s third birthday, saw several familiar faces in attendance among them, Dipika Kakar and her adorable son, Ruhaan.
The reunion was a special one, as Bharti and Dipika have shared a long-standing friendship since their time together on Nach Baliye Season 8.
Reminiscing about their journey, Bharti said in her vlog, “We used to stand together before the judges after our performances. It’s been ages since we met. I honestly didn’t expect you to make it today, but thank you so much for coming.”
Addressing Dipika’s sudden exit from Celebrity MasterChef India, Bharti shared, “I felt really bad. I know how passionate she is about cooking. When someone walks away from something they truly love, it means they were left with no choice. Some people will understand that straight away others might need time, but eventually, they will.”
The touching reunion between Bharti and Dipika served as a reminder of the genuine friendships that blossom behind the scenes in the world of entertainment.
Dipika’s absence has undoubtedly left a void on the show, and her culinary talent was deeply appreciated by the judges throughout her journey.
