MUMBAI : This Gurupurnima, Abhay Bhargav from Shemaroo Umang's show ‘Chaahenge Tumhe Itnaa’ shares his sources of inspiration. He expresses deep respect for Sheila Bhatia as his acting role model and highlights the people who inspire and influence him.

Sharing his thoughts of the auspicious day Abhay expressed, “We learn so much from different people throughout our lives. In school and college, we learn from our teachers and professors. At home, we learn a lot from our parents, who are also our great teachers. In my acting career, I've learned a lot from many people, and they are my teachers too. So, Guru Purnima is a special day for me to remember all my teachers.”

He added,“I consider my teachers and instructors my gurus. My parents, who taught me so much in life, are also my great gurus. I learned acting from Mrs. Sheila Bhatia, with whom I did theatre in Delhi for at least 20 years.”

The actor sheds light on his inspiration into the world of acting “As for following a specific teaching of my guru, I follow everything I learned from Sheila Ji. She taught us a lot in theatre, including the details of acting and how to act naturally. From her, I learned that when you act, you receive dialogues and have to play a character. You should feel like you are that character at that moment.”

In ‘Chaahenge Tumhe Itnaa’ Abhay plays the role of Amit, who is Aashi’s (played by Swati Sharma) father-in-law.
