Chaturi to come in as the ‘tension reliever’ in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum

Star Plus’ popular show, Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions) will now reach a crucial phase wherein not all is well in the Rathi family. Yes, we are talking of the aftermath to the court case pertaining to the death of Mohit (Varun Jain), the son of the house. As reported in media, Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) will be released from jail, after Sandhya (Deepika Singh) will take the big step of creating a fake scenario wherein the daughter of the judge will be trapped in the same situation that Bhabho had faced earlier. The result of this will be that the judge will understand the situation in which the crime was committed and will release Bhabho. However, this will not solve matters at home!! There will be lot of tension between every member of the family, with people taking sides. And this will create unrest in the otherwise happy Rathi family. At this juncture will enter Chaturi, the popular character played by Rashmi Pitre. Chaturi however, will have a changed mindset and also a different look in the show now. As per sources, “Chaturi will return as a married woman; the actor to play her husband will be Bharat Kumwani. Being from a very rich background, Chaturi will now sport a modernized look, mostly seen in rich salwar suits and makeup. She will be the one who will come in as the tension reliever.” This special track and the way in which Chaturi will deal with everyone in the Rathi family will again bring smiles on their faces. She will be the one who will mend situations and relationships in the house. When contacted, Rashmi told us, “Yes, this special track will be real fun. Chaturi has always received love and appreciation from viewers, and I hope to get appreciated even now. At this juncture, I will want to wish everyone a very happy New Year.” Get ready to see this light-hearted track in Diya Aur Baati Hum.
