Colors Bangla is all set to launch a new serial titled ‘Meera’ produced by one of the superstars of Tollywood, Jeet Madnani.
Talking about the project, actor and producer (of Grassroot Entertainment), Jeet quipped, “Meera is my dream project, and with this launch I feel elated yet anxious at the same time.”
“Every actor in the show has been carefully chosen for the character they will be portraying, making them the perfect fit as they play crucial roles in taking the storyline forward,” he added.
Focusing on this new association, Sujay Kutty, Channel Head, Colors Bangla and Odia said, “We are happy to collaborate with Grassroot Entertainment, and put forward a story that is very unique and gripping.”
Now coming to the plot, it will trace the journey of Meera (Jasmine Roy), who gets married to an Army Officer, Prabhoranjan (Mainak Banerjee), but soon becomes a widow as her husband dies in the line of duty.
Well, no serial is incomplete without its share of drama and twist!!!
As per the storyline, Meera will then meet Subhankar (Rehaan Roy), an ex-Army Officer who has a bitter relationship with his wife and is on the verge of divorce.
Interestingly, Subhankar’s son Rik grows an emotional bond with Meera while, at the same time, Meera’s daughter Mishti starts becoming emotionally dependent on Subhankar.
Will the desires and wishes of the two children bring both Meera and Subhankar together?
