KOLKATA: Time to congratulate the team of the Bengali soap, Ke Apon Ke Por. The popular Pallavi Sharma and Biswajit Ghosh starrer Star Jalsha show has completed 1000 successful episodes of telecast.
Produced by Boyhood Productions and launched on 27th July 2016, the show has managed to win the hearts of the audience of Bengal for near about three years now, and it has completed 1000 episodes this May.
The show focuses on the plight of Joba (Pallavi Sharma) who, under unforeseen circumstances, gets married into the Sengupta family, where she used to work as the maid. Over the years, Ke Apon Ke Por has explored Joba’s life and her pursuit to ensure happiness for her family. With her husband, Param (Biswajit Ghosh) by her side, Ke Apon ke Por has shown Joba’s inspirational journey from a small-town girl to that of a lawyer. Param encouraged Joba to complete her studies as well as earn a law degree from a noted university, thereby fulfilling her dream of becoming an independent private-practicing lawyer.
Currently she is going through a unique phase in her life. As Param and Joba celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, the celebration is bitter sweet due to Joba being pregnant, much to the embarrassment of her grown up kids and extended family.
Speaking on the occasion, Sagnik Ghosh, EVP & Channel Head, Star Jalsha & Jalsha Movies, said, “Joba stands as a symbol of perseverance and confidence. In this ever-changing world, she stands as a torchbearer of righteousness. We are overwhelmed by the love and support Ke AponKe Por has received over all these years and we hope to cross many more milestones like this in the future.”
Susanta Das, the Producer cum Director of the show, added, “It is a remarkable and overwhelming moment for a tele serial to reach this benchmark. It is a matter of immense pride for us that Ke Apon Ke Por has completed 1000 successful episodes of telecast, a feat which would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the actors and actresses, technicians, channel representatives and several other people associated with this show. We hope that the audience keep supporting and loving Ke Apon Ke Por as they have done for the past three years. That is our only trophy and our only prize."
Ke Apon Ke Por is currently on air every day at 7.30 pm.
