On the occasion of Independence Day that is fast approaching (15 August 2012), Life OK, being a new GEC, is planning for a unique programming for a day, called <em>Azadi Ka Jashn</em>, and give its viewers a new experience altogether.
We have learnt that Contiloe Telefilms is all set to bring in two telefilms for this special day. That’s indeed an amazing idea by the channel to stand out from the other GECs. Therefore, the makers have already started shooting for the telefilm. To be precise, these two telefilms will be based on terror attacks.

We have learnt that Contiloe Telefilms is all set to bring in two telefilms for this special day. That’s indeed an amazing idea by the channel to stand out from the other GECs. Therefore, the makers have already started shooting for the telefilm. To be precise, these two telefilms will be based on terror attacks.
Our source whispered in our ears that one of the telefilms will narrate the 26/11 terror attack where constable Obale was killed and the other will put light on Neerja Bhanot hijack case.
To name a few, actors like Karishma Tanna and Amit Behl will be featuring in these telefilms.
When we contacted Abhimanyu Singh, producer of Contiloe for details, he refused to divulge details but confirmed that he is indeed doing these films.
Apart from this special programming, we hear that few shows on the same channel will also pay tribute to our motherland on the day of Independence.
