MUMBAI : Dalljiet Kaur, who is presently engaged in a court battle with her estranged husband Nikhil Patel, has been going through the hardest time in her life. At first, Dalljiet and Nikhil's married life appeared to be nothing less than a fantasy. Dalljiet never stopped showing Nikhil how much she loved him; according to a recent story, she even tore the saree her mother had given her as a present for Nikhil.
As per a news portal, before Dalljiet Kaur left India to settle in Kenya, her mother gave the actress the trousseau with all of her heart. But her ex-husband Nikhil Patel intended to use the saree her mother had given her as a cover for a sofa. Dalljiet made this sacrifice by tearing off her mother's provided saree to make the sofa cover in order to satisfy Nikhil's demand.
According to insiders on the portal, Dalljiet broke down in tears when her saree was sliced into little pieces in order to satisfy her husband's request. The actor from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2 became really emotional when she made this decision because she is very loyal to traditions. She granted Nikhil's request because she felt that the sofa served as a memorial to their love.
Dalljiet is still awaiting the delivery of numerous priceless items from Nikhil's Kenyan residence. When he threatened to donate her possessions to charity, she went to the court to request a stay order against him. Then it was reported that Nikhil moved Dalljiet's possessions into a storage area.
Dalljiet requested the sofa be given to her during their court case since she was attached to the coverings, which were made from her saree. But Nikhil ripped the cover off and put some of the parts in the storage room.
The magazine was also notified by the source that Nikhil is currently sharing images of the sofa featuring a fresh cover. For those who are unaware, Nikhil recently posted an image of the identical couch on his Instagram stories, revealing that it now has a new yellow cover.
A status update on the Kenyan court hearing regarding Dalljiet Kaur's separation from Nikhil Patel was provided on August 22, 2024. The actress expressed her displeasure in the same article, pointing out that Nikhil and his legal team are attempting to establish Dalljiet and him as never-married.
