DD's Amrita completes 100 episodes

Actor Vijay Badlani is ecstatic about his DD show Amrita having completed the shooting of its 100th episode. Yes, it’s a ‘century experience’ for the actor for the first time ever and he is extremely happy about this fact. “I am thankful to God and all the people who believed in me and offered me the lead role in this show,” said the actor. So, where is the party? “We cut the cake on the sets so, I don’t think we are having a grand party as such. But we are proud of the fact that Amrita has done well at the 12 pm afternoon slot.” This year has been a lucky one for the artist with him having bagged some interesting projects. “It has been a great year with me being a part of Jodha Akbar and Amrita. I am also a part of three plays at the moment Samasya, Holi Ki Chutti and Shikar which are adaptations of Munshi Premchandji’s work. So, it’s a great going,” said the artist with a smile.
