MUMBAI : Deepika Singh is making a comeback to television with Mangal Lakshmi and is renowned for her portrayal of Sandhya Rathi in the hit show Diya Aur Baati Hum. Her amazing portrayal has kept viewers entertained. Deepika recently had a brief conversation about mental and physical health, discussing how yoga has changed her life.
In an interview with the popular news portal, Deepika shared, “Yoga has added a lot of mental peace and balance in me other than helping me stay fit, it has also added a lot of flexibility which I as a dancer need.”

She provided further detail about her experience with yoga, calling it a natural path. The actor mentioned how much she enjoyed experimenting with various yoga styles. She highlighted that her doctors had recommended yoga, which fit her lifestyle well, in addition to being a personal choice. She mentioned how yoga calms her mind, increases her flexibility, treats a variety of physical problems, and most importantly, keeps her fit in a healthy way.
Deepika also conveyed a message to all her fans on the International Day of Yoga. She said, “Stay fit stay blessed and remember your body is your temple…health comes first and all the rest follows…so take care of your mental and physical well-being.”
Deepika Singh was filming when a big plywood board fell on her back, injuring her back. Deepika Singh had an eye clot a few days before this incident. She was rushed to the hospital.
Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus marked Deepika Singh's television debut in 2011. The five-year-long program featured her as an IPS officer named Sandhya Rathi/Kothari. She went on to star in Colors TV's supernatural show Kavach...Mahashivratri and the web series The Real Soulmate. In the Colors TV show Mangal Lakshmi, she currently plays the part of Mangal Srivastav Saxena, who tries to find a husband for her sister Lakshmi.
